Who & what is SANS TROU?
Pronounced [sahn-trooh],
the French translation is quite literally, "without a hole".
Our vision aligns exactly with the meaning behind the name — we strive to become the go-to for those looking for piercing-free alternatives.
For too long, not having a piercing meant compromise when it came to accessorising. Clip-on earrings have been around for decades but the options are still limited and often extremely uncomfortable (trust us, we've tried them all).
So we're saying goodbye to the assumption that clip-ons are dated and painful. In fact we want to normalise clip-on jewellery by offering pieces that will be adored & suitable for all, even those with pierced ears.

After years of trialling different clip-ons, our designs are made with comfort as an absolute priority. Clips-on are a safe alternative for sensitive ears and when made well, they should elevate your look without excessive pain. Beautiful clip-ons do not have to come with pain.

QUALITY
The majority of our pieces are made with thick 18k gold-plated stainless steel or sterling silver. This means they're tarnish-resistant and will hold up beautifully with time. Most pieces are also hypoallergenic, nickel free and lead free.
All pearl designs are created with freshwater pearls where each pearl is natural and unique to the next.
