HOW-TO GUIDES
Simple video guides to flawlessly fit and style your SANS TROU clip-ons and ear cuffs.
CLIP-ONS
CLASSIC CLIP (both sizes)
1. Gently pull the sphere end of the clip outwards, creating just enough space for the clip to fit onto your lobe.
Take care not to over-stretch the clip as this will cause a loose fit.
2. Clip the earring on to the thinnest section of your lobe
3. Then slide it to your desired position
4. Check that the earring is secure - the clip should fully hug the lobe
5. Stack & style with our other clip-on earrings or ear cuffs
PLEASE NOTE: Our clips are delicate and should be handled with love & care, when wearing or storing
SPRING CLIP
1. Open the clip: Gently pull back the spring mechanism to open the earring.
2. Create space: Delicately widen the clip just enough to slide it onto the thinnest section of your lobe
3. Position it: Glide the earring up or down to your perfect, desired spot.
4. The final check: Ensure the earring feels secure, with the clip fully and comfortably hugging the lobe.
5. Stack & style: Build your ear stack by pairing it with our other clip-on earrings or ear cuffs.
Wanting to stack another clip-on as a 2nds or 3rds? You may want to opt for a smaller Classic Clip for comfort alongside your Spring Clip.
Care Tip: Our delicate spring clips love to be treated with care. Handle them gently when adjusting and storing to ensure lasting wear.
PADDED CLIP
1. Open the hoop by bending back the back rod (refer to image below)
Do this gently and with control to avoid deforming or breaking the hoop
2. Once the gap is just large enough, slide the hoop onto the lobe
3. Adjust the position on the lobe. It should be placed high enough for the backing to be fully concealed
4. Hold the front of the hoop firmly and steadily, using it as an anchor to stabilise the hoop as you squeeze the backing closed. Do not squeeze the entire hoop as this may deform it's shape
5. Check that the hoop is firmly hugging your lobe. If it is not squeezed on tight enough, it may slip off easily
TIP: For the most secure fit, wear our Padded Clips as a first lobe piercing where there is the most space to fully support the padded backing. Only wear as a seconds if you have enough lobe space to do so.

EAR CUFFS
CONCH CUFFS
1. Gently widen: Pull the ends of the ear cuff slightly apart to open it up
2. Slip it on: Slide the cuff onto the thinnest part of your cartilage
3. Find your placement: Glide the cuff up or down to your desired position along the conch
4. Secure the fit: Apply firm, steady pressure to press the ends closed until it feels snug and comfortable
5. The final check: Ensure the cuff is fully wrapped around both the front and back of your ear for maximum security.
CARE TIP: Ear cuffs with stones should not be overly bent as this may stress the delicate stone settings.
HELIX CUFFS
1. Gently widen: Pull the ends of the ear cuff slightly apart to open it up
2. Slip it on: Slide the cuff onto the thinnest part of your cartilage (typically near the middle or bottom of your helix area)
3. Slide it up: Glide the cuff upward until it rests on the thickest part of your helix
Our ear cuffs are made of solid sterling silver, a hypoallergenic and flexible metal.
Most styles can be adjusted to fit most ear shapes & sizes.
