I have really struggled in the last year as my ear holes, that have been perfectly pierced with no problems for 20 years, suddenly began to hurt and swell when wearing earrings. I had tried nickel-free earrings and hypoallergenic earrings but they didn’t work either, my ears still became irritated. When I had nearly given up, I came across Sans Trou clip on earrings and oh my goodness they have changed my life!! The clip ins don’t irritate my ears at all, they stay put all day and look absolutely gorgeous!! I’m beyond happy with them, they are the perfect mix between a pair that can be worn everyday and also for fancy occasions. I’m so beyond happy that I can comfortably wear earrings again, and I will definitely be purchasing more pairs in the near future!! :)
Gorgeous earrings!! They fit very well and are not loose at all and i actually can’t feel them which is a plus!! This is my third pair, i’m obsessed.

Finally, I have found clip on earrings that are comfortable to wear and also look absolutely stunning. These earrings are so light you forget you even have them on! You can't even tell they are clip on. Amazing. I love them. They also came in a beautiful little pouch with a lovely personal note. Very impressive.
Couldn’t wear them out yet to test how they stay on - but they did make a great, well fitted first impression when trying them on!

Nice looking and well made. Waaaaaaay too small for an ear cuff. Can’t imagine who could wear it as a ear cuff, a child perhaps. Had to wear it at the very top of ear. Looks stupid.

I must admit I was skeptical because clip-ons in the past have hurt so bad! But these were so easy to put on and pain free! I kept checking to see if they stayed on throughout the day and they did. You won’t go wrong with ordering.

After developing keloid scars and not being able to wear earrings, I’ve struggled to find quality clip ons. I recently came across Sans Troy and received my first order with the beautiful Lyna pair. Could not be happier, they are so comfortable to wear and the clip on attachment is so discrete.
My 5th or 6th Sans Trou pair. I find this particular clip very comfortable and this design is absolutely gorgeous!
Extremely disappointed with this company, I own several pairs with the EXACT same clasp but they never ever fall out, while the Sans Trou hoops fall out CONSTANTLY! I emailed them about it and they basically gaslighted me telling me to send a video of me putting them on (which I cannot do from my phone anyway as my email won't let me attach big files like videos)... As if I don't already know how to put them on when I have 6 other pairs with this exact same clasp! If the fault was with me then how come every single other pair I own never ever falls out and only the Sans Trou ones do??
The amount of times they've fallen out while I'm sitting at a table or having a gentle walk is crazy and super embarrassing, they are now damaged from just how many times they have fallen straight out of my ears 😢
For what I paid I'm so disappointed... The larger hoop earrings are clearly too heavy for the clasp they come with so don't waste your money with these particular hoops!

Because clip-ons are not 'one size fits all,' fit can vary significantly depending on individual ear anatomy (like lobe thickness or shape). The reason we ask for a video isn't to suggest you don't know how to wear them, but simply because seeing exactly how the clip sits on your specific ear allows us to identify if a different clip type would be a better match for you or if there are any tweaks that can be made to fix the issue.
You are spot on that the BRIAR is a larger style. Even though we design them to be lightweight, the larger size naturally creates more 'swing' or momentum on the ear compared to smaller styles. While the BRIAR in the Classic Clip can work perfectly for some customers, this clip type might not provide enough tension to counterbalance that extra movement, for others. Similarly, this clasp may work perfectly on the ear for smaller or lighter weight styles but it might not be “enough” for bigger styles, depending on the individual lobe and how well it holds the clip.
We do offer a complimentary clip swap service where we can switch them to another clip type and would love to organise this for you so you aren't left with earrings you can't wear.
